Are there any hard stats on how all this drama is impacting Reddit? Is this just a small dent in their daily traffic or are they actually slowly declining?
I would be very surprise if it's more than a small dent. Most of the people I see on subreddits or redditor I know from somewhere else don't care at all about the drama.
I probably wouldn't have noticed had I not checked /r/all. Most smaller subreddits are unaffected it would seem. That being said, the drama still prompted me to check out other sites because I was unaware that there were similar link aggregators (with more civil communities)
