I can't speak for all pugs, but mine does bark a bit more than I like. This could be down to me or any other number of reasons, but I'm sure it's something that can be trained away with some positive reinforcement training. Pugs are known to have some health issues, so be sure to do your research (especially in regards to breeders) if you decide to get one. That being said, there really is no dog like them, and I've never regretted getting mine.
