Fun fact: Japanese honey bees have their own defence mechanism against wasps that invade their territory. They surround the invader in the hundreds and vibrate their flight muscles violently, increasing the temperature to 115F and raising the carbon dioxide level hugely - slowly cooking and asphyxiating the invading wasp to death.
Of course, other honey bees don't have such a defense mechanism and are easy prey for a pack of hornets.

The notion that regulation hurts competition is a bullshit one. It's these regulations that are meant to encourage competition and avoid outright monopolies from controlling a single resource - because this is exactly what the ISP landscape looks like in the US.

Winamp was a product of its time; a once-decent MP3 player that existed in an era when people either bought CDs or pirated MP3s through filesharing networks like Kazaa, Napster, Limewire, etc. The alternatives like Windows Media Player and Quicktime were comparatively quite shit so it's easy to see why Winamp caught on.
Nowadays, people have access to services like Apple Music, Deezer, Tidal and Spotify which allow you to stream unlimited music through their own software. There's hardly even an incentive to pirate anymore.

I can't imagine anything worse than being forced to stand during a several hour flight, especially when you'd be experience g-forces and turbulence which would send everyone flying.
