r/TheBanout2018 - Reddit power users are banding together to automatically mass-ban anyone participating in subreddits they've deemed hateful
In the words of the power users: "It's like the 2015 blackout, but instead of going private we will ban every participant of a hateful harassing subreddit from as many subreddits as possible. Unlike the blackout, this will only effect the cause of the problem." Notable subreddits being targeted by the Reddit elite include r/SubredditCancer, r/The_Donald and r/TheRedPill.
