I'm guessing unlike Adam Rose who was also arrested recently for domestic violence that Lawler isn't going to get fired/released. That would allow Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler to team up on any number of indy, TNA, MMA or NJPW shows and given how much WWE loves to tout the attitude era it would do them no favors to have that era's announce team start touring other companies.
On the other hand they really can't let this stuff slide and his suspension hopefully is without pay.
