Comes off as extremely unprofessional and bitter, I can't imagine why they would admit to negotiating with people under contract with NJPW and not able to talk to other companies either, isn't that a crime, didn't TNA sue WWE for that a couple of years ago?
Really, they sound bitter, in a handshake deal you can change your mind, that's just the way it is. If I was going to buy a Kia and suddenly Mercedes offered me their car at a lower price and better deal, I'd go with the better deal, forget the handshake.
