Stuff in Space
Stuff in Space is a realtime 3D map of objects in Earth orbit, visualized using WebGL. The website updates daily with orbit data from Space-Track.org and uses the excellent satellite.js Javascript library to calculate satellite positions.

It's a bit difficult finding some history on a lot of these satellites. But I did manage to randomly find the Chandra X-ray Observatory (designated CXO).
I love that this site specifies whether it is a rocket body, satellite or just debris. It's fascinating to see how busy our skies are, can you imagine how the skies must have looked before satellites and rockets? Amazing.
