I disagree. They learned the ins and outs and will continue doing this until they are stopped. I mean they are partially responsible for Brexit and Trump. The US and other western democracies need to team up and punish Russia as they are engaging in cyber warfare that can have lasting effects for generations.
Lots of circumstantial evidence that I'm sure will materialize soon enough. More sanctions (if Trump could actually enforce them), cut them off from our internet, I don't know. SOMETHING. But obviously war isn't the answer.

One, the evidence of this Russian interference is what, exactly? Two, by "punish Russia," what are you suggesting?
