Whoever downvoted this without a reason, can you just go back to reddit?

Looks like it's already starting to seep in. I think it would be helpful if you were required to chose a reason to downvote. People shouldn't be downvoting without a real reason.

Word. I spoke to Team Snapzu about it, and it's in the works. I even made a more extreme suggestion: show the users who've downvoted, along with their reasons. Since we're only supposed to downvote for good reason, we should be able to stand by them.

That sounds good in theory, but I feel like it wouldn't work in implementation. Fact is, people get offended when they get downvoted, even if the other person has a good reason. People shouldn't have to be scared of being shamed or stalked for a genuine downvote.

Edit: Though I would think it would work to have moderators have the ability to see who is downvoting. This will help catch serial downvoters.

I thought about that too, but I feel like the positives outweigh the possible negatives. It's definitely unlikely to happen, though.

            I agree.
