Politicians: statistically a % of the 30% are voted in to power. Power to make/change laws. Power to tell us what to do and think.
Lack of critical thinking: no common sense and/or effective education to teach people to think for themselves
The bible (no matter which particular one) being used as textbooks. I don't care what you believe in but I do care if you choose to use religion as the only tool to teach the next generation.
