    Thanks for the related link, Sister! Last Christmas, the weather was much warmer than usual/normal, warm enough so that one could actually play baseball outside. Mom looked out the window and asked, "Are the Tigers playing today?" I said yes. She then asked, "Is Mickey Lolich pitching?" Mickey Lolich was a Tiger pitcher from the 60's and 70's who won three games in the 1968 World Series, and, more importantly, one of Mom's all-time favorites. Of course I told her that he was the day's starter.
