    I think I'm the only one who has no problem with this.

    This sort of monitoring is clearly covered by the Third Party Clause of the 4th Amendment, and knowing your phone's location is not a personal invasion of privacy. The fact that they're concealing them is kind of disturbing, but it's understandable when you consider that people believe that people consider "privacy" to be the right to be invisible, even while you're constantly connected to third-party communications networks.
