I hope more facilities start to look at office space this way. Having a desk job might not be so boring in a couple years.
No. No. No. Sorry, but this does NOT work for my job. Software development requires a lot of concentration. You need to be able to get into "the zone" or "flow", as many of you have probably already heard about. Communication is good, but at the expense of personal space? No thanks.
Wont work for me either.
I agree, although it looks good and is a really creative idea, it wouldn't work for me either. I have even gone as far as to recently buy myself some ear muffs to block out office noise when I need to concentrate.
This is so inspiring, great design and awesome looks!
And as you can see, everyone is at their own chair. Those group spaces arent comfortable and arent designed well for a meeting. The desk are small and there isnt room for much else than laptops, its cramped and unconfortable. Innovation without thinking isnt the way.
While it's pretty, I can't see it being vaguely useful to replicate anywhere else in the universe. What office has a coffee bar in it?
If they wanted it to be useful, they should have made it out of whiteboard material. Now that would be actually usable.
Looks more like a ride...nice though
What's with that shaking, stuttering effect in the video? Ugh.
