Driverless Electric Cabs Will Cut Emissions, Save Bucks: Berkeley Study
A new study shows just what Google and Uber are fighting about. Driverless taxis could mean both lower greenhouse gas emissions and lower costs, according to the study from Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. However, the study is looking 15 years into the future and assumes electric battery vehicles will be widely used.
