There's a lot of cool stuff happening in the sustainability space. Typically energy (particularly solar and wind) and environmental-based topics find their way out to the mainstream media, but there are lots of other things happening: governments moving in big and small ways, businesses developing new ideas, communities getting together or people living more sustainable lives and talking about it.
