Microsoft nears $2B deal for 'Minecraft': WSJ

Isn't it a bit late? I can't imagine the game sustaining its peak for much longer.
Maybe not at this current iteration, but this thing has crazy marketing and expansion potential. Its like Mario Bro's all over again except with a different genre. If you haven't tried it, I recommend you do... Its crazy addictive.
Funny how Notch reacted to facebook acquiring oculus, but would allow this to happen.... In terms of "rubbing the wrong way" this is a much bigger... rub.
To think that only a half a decade or so ago, the company Mojang was worth $0.
