Remember The Radical Faeries!
The Radical Faeries exist to explore and express a spiritual sexual ethos
The gay liberation movement of the late 1960s through the mid 1980s[a] urged lesbians and gay men to engage in radical direct action, and to counter societal shame with gay pride. In the feminist spirit of the personal being political, the most basic form of activism was an emphasis on coming out.
The Radical Faeries are a loosely affiliated worldwide network and counter-cultural movement seeking to redefine queer consciousness through spirituality. Sometimes deemed a form of contemporary Paganism, it adopts elements from anarchism and environmentalism.
