    In reality, you don't get to be a top-ranking politician without being an intelligent psychopath. (Or maybe in Bush's case, from a powerful family)

    But you're right about them being clowns, in the sense that they're putting on a political circus to keep us thinking we have a say in something, and to keep us distracted by bickering about pointless bullshit like gays in the military etc, and of course the "clowns" themselves.

    A hundred years from now, assuming humanity won, people will be amazed by the sheer insanity of the world we live in now.

      I think it's more politicians are narcissistic than psychopaths. Constantly 'proving' their self worth through voting systems and then stepping over the people that got them into place to begin with.

            That's right, but nitpicky. AFAIK, the biggest difference between a "narcissist" and a plain psychopath is that the Narc craves "narcissistic supply" (~attention, mostly).
