U.S. drops legal action against Apple over encrypted iPhone
The U.S. Justice Department said it successfully accessed data stored on an encrypted iPhone used by one of the San Bernardino shooters and asked a court to withdraw an order compelling Apple to assist, according to a court filing on Monday.

$20 they find literally no relevant information to the case.
I won't take that bet because I suspect the same. However, I don't think this was ever really about accessing that particular phone anyway. It started as one kind of power play - "let us into all your phones because terrorism" - and became another - "we'll get into your phones whether you (or the ACLU, or Americans, or the Supreme Court, etc.) like it or not. Because terrorism."
It's a terrorism related security matter, so you will only find that out if you have clearance and need to know. You won't even find out if they really decrypted it. That information will not be released for decades.
