Defending Real Barbecue

... I would hate to see some of these proponents of real "barbeque" feel about grilled meats as seen around the world like churrasco, or gogigui, where just due to translation, and english being defined by its use, not by any higher authority, get labelled as barbeque. Then again, I am not American, so I don't understand the adherence to pork, over other meats.
