That's a lot of money for a router.
There are plenty of routers around that price point surprisingly enough. I bought a ~$200 router a bit ago and it has pretty much all the features this one is boasting (Bandwith monitor/allocator) and more (VPN, plug-and-play external storage available to everyone on the network, some other stuff I haven't messed with just yet).
I don't see what makes this router worth it, though the argument could be made that the aesthetic and ability to use your phone to monitor it make it worth it.
Makes as much sense as Amazon selling phones.
I had a TP-Link 802.11AC router, and it sucked pretty bad. It had software problems and a terrible antenna array.
