    Site design tweaks/comments

Not sure this is the right place for this but I couldn't find a better one with a quick search.

I don't know how others feel, but there are a couple of things about the site design that irk me a bit so I figured I would go ahead and point them out and see if anyone else feels similarly or if I should just suck it up and deal with it.

First: I can't tell at a glance if I've voted on comments. I can hover to see, but I can't tell without a hover. I'd really like to be able to see those vote buttons without hovering the comment.

And second: The top bar. I get it that responsive scrolly things are the hot web 2.0 or, 3.0 or whatever.0 we're on right now but that style really gets under my skin. When I'm half way down a page and I scroll up I want to scroll the content up. I don't want to drag in some top bar to take up my screen real estate and have to scroll further to see a line that is just off screen. It's irritating on my phone where I don't have much screen space so getting the bar off screen is seriously justifiable, it really irks me on my 24inch desktop. I think it should just be pinned to the top of the page and you scroll all the way up if you want to see it.

Third: Sometimes it seems like image links can be viewed inline, other times not... I haven't figured out the pattern yet. That could be a little cleaner. Also I haven't seen a way to collapse images down after I'm done looking at them. That would be really awesome.

On features, maybe this exists but I didn't see it: Is there a way to save a comment or link/discussion(snap?)? I've seen a couple things that were posted that had no comments and I had no comment on but I'd like to come back to later to look at. A save button would be awesome.

And finally: Thanks for creating something new, competition breeds innovation and I look forward to seeing how all the various reddit alternatives that have been cropping up shake out. This place seems pretty slick so far.
