Is it cool to post my band's music here? If so, check it out. We recorded our first EP in Nashville at The Bomb Shelter with same engineer as Alabama Shakes

My band, Hail Dale, lives in Sarasota, Florida. We all have had bands in town for years and after playing gigs with each other you kind of figure what other musicians in town you really mesh with. So we made this band and we all kind of found our calling with the style of music. The name came from our drummer, Duff. He wanted to start a dirty, sleazy, Southern Rock band as a joke and we all got on board. Its a respectable tribute to Dale Earnhardt, although none of us really keep up with NASCAR. Once we wrote a couple songs we started taking it way more serious. Our first show was so heavily built up that it was absolutely packed. I play guitar and sing and write, I'm Chris the dark haired guitar player.

Garrett, the ginger splits the guitar/singing/writing duty with me.

Brock's on bass, he's just Brock

Duff Cobra is the drummer, Garret, Brock and Duff are all in another band together as well.

We recorded at The Bomb Shelter, an all analogue studio where Alabama Shakes recorded their gold record. Our engineer was Andrija Tokic who is also the engineer from the Shakes record. Its funny because he just left the records sitting on the floor in the bathroom.

We drank a lot and had a good, prescribed, bit of adderal. Knocked it out in 20 hours over two days.

We used a lot of Andrija's vintage equipment such as a sixties tube ampeg for all bass, a badass organ/leslie combo and some of the guitars and guitar amps too.
