    A new ice age is in the geologic future and it would be very difficult for mankind to control its onset. Global warming is in the here & now and is more capable of being influenced by human actions.

      Cooling would have taken place long before now, relying on Climatologists stats. One should/could be grateful for the current minimal warming, the alternative not so much
