They say the Fibonacci sequence is "1,3,5,8,13", but it actually starts "1,1,2,3,5,8,13..." (and it doesn't end at 13). It's still similar but I think for such a short sequence it's a substantial difference. This seems like an attempt to somehow fit the Fibonacci sequence into music, the relevance is unclear. The Fibonacci sequence is also not as special as it is made out to be (see RL).

I guess they should have said 'A part of the Fibonacci sequence'.

Yeah, but that wouldn't have sounded as good. Also: the golden ratio is 1.6180... the ratios in "1,3,5,8,13" are "3,1.67,1.6,1.625" which is close. What they really should have said is "if you cheat a bit you can kind of find the beginning of the Fibonacci sequence in here, the ratios are also very roughly similar to the golden ratio".

I don't mean for this to sound harsh, I just think the video is trying to find something that's not really there (and it's really sloppy with it's mathematics).

To be fair the text in the screenshot does say "(sequence of 1,3,5,8,13)".
