David Černý - one of the leading Czech contemporary artists. Cerny was born in Prague. He gained notoriety in 1991 by painting a Soviet tank pink, to serve as a war memorial in central Prague.

Not a subtle artist, is he? I thought the "pissing contest" was hilarious.
I've been there, it's actually even better than it looks in the pictures. They're animated and rotate at the waist!
Even better, or even more disturbing? Or is that a distinction that makes a difference, considering the body of work? :)
