This sort of thing is exactly why Smullyan is one of my favorite philosophers. I'd also say he's generally far too underappreciated. Hes got a keen wit and lucid writing style, but I suppose the fact that he never put much work into building grand explanatory theories meant that he hasnt gotten as much attention.
