Will Lessons Be Learned?
In 2016, disaffected voters brought about seismic shifts within the current world order, the effects of which will be felt for many years to come. The question now is will the political establishment learn from this upheaval or will it simply ask that the band play on?

Despite the pronounced antagonism between Trump and the Republican establishment throughout his campaign(s), Trump's support/success will be treated by said establishment as acceptance of their principles. So more likely than not, no "adjustment" to business as usual will be forthcoming.
Neither does the Democrat party seemed fazed by Bernie's success as they still attempt to "lay blame" anywhere/everywhere else for their defeat.
So seemingly:........ the band plays on.
