M9 (NGC 6333)
Globular cluster in the constellation Ophiuchus.

M9 is one of the closest clusters to the Milky Way galactic nucleus. It is approximately 25,800 light years away with 13 variable stars. It is moving away from us through an interstellar dust cloud which causes some dimming.
