Have you read Lady Chatterley's Lover?!

So a few (few) years ago when I was in high school we had an amazing english teacher - insanely passionate and quirky actually - in my year with her one of the books we read happened to be D. H Lawrence's Far From the Madding crowd. Which was fine enough.

But what I do remember most from that year was how she went on and on about D. H Lawrence's Lady Chatterley's Lover, how very risqué it was. Naturally we management to find a copy and it past through the class rather quickly. And at the tender age of 17 or so I found it rather boring and not risqué at all!

Well, fast forward 10 years on and i've just reread it - what a wonderful piece of writing, which is plenty risqué!
