Hmm...my fiancee and I typically bring our own snacks rather than pay the exorbitant prices charged at the concession stands. $4 for a small popcorn or a bottle of water is a little much for my budget. This sounds like a good excuse for catching us sneaking our own food into the theater.
Seems like they are using recent tragedy to check for just that. It is stupid to think a bag check by some teenager is going to deter a person with a weapon and ill intent.
