I think it's important to always take a step back and reconsider everything you've just learned from the position of a skeptic. It can help a lot to see the other side of the coin.
Sometimes it is not even a question of skepticism, there are some things so beautifully designed that twisting their essence just brings a new world forward for your eyes to explore. Much like the article says; always be ready to embrace more than what you understand.
