On eBay, do a search for “haunted” and you’ll get dozens of dolls, boxes, crystals, Ouija boards, and other pieces of regular-looking furniture that contain a little something extra special inside of them. These items are hawked by a slew of sellers, from full-fledged businesses that specialize in only selling ghost-enhanced artifacts, to regular folks who just want Uncle Wally’s old stuffed animal out of the house.

....Welp, definitely not clicking the link as I'm currently alone in a big house all night. This shit creeps me right out.
After reading the article, I looked up "Haunted" on e-bay myself. The brightly colored comic-sans descriptions combined with the poorly angled photographs definitely added to the creepy factor. The content ranged from slightly comical ("I found this thing, but my wife hates it and wants me to get rid of it") to downright disturbing ("anyone would be lucky to have this little soul in their home").
I don't necessarily think these things are haunted. Focus on something or strain your hearing long enough and the mind fills in the gaps. Add paranoia and predisposition and you get Uncle Bob's haunted porcelain doll.
Have you ever looked at yourself in the mirror for more than 10 seconds? Your face starts to look off.
