The Grand Prismatic Spring in Yellowstone National Park is the largest hot spring in the United States, and the third largest in the world, after Frying Pan Lake in New Zealand and Boiling Lake in Dominica. The way these colours blend makes it seem surreal. I feel like we are lucky to be living in an age when not only we are lucky to have the opportunity to see such beautiful landscapes, but also share them with others who truly appreciate them.
Some of the photos almost look like abstract paintings to me. I agree they have a surreal or otherworldly quality to them. I don't travel much, so I'm always happy to see photos of all the beautiful places on earth. :)
