Aww, that's nice! There's nothing like a handwritten letter. I have a few pen pals, but I haven't been in touch with them for a bit. We have sent eachother notes, cards, poems, art, postcards, crafts, zines, books, etc. I've gotten some very lovely things over the years, and I keep everything. I think it's funny that you send email and she writes. I guess you have to wait a bit for a reply. ;)
I have a very old friend who still sends me hand written letters. I answer her via email,but she answers me the old fashoned way.
