Beautiful, wonder how good the fishing would be there...
I believe it is (or was, considering the number of tourists they get now) a fishers village.
Certainly one of the most beautiful places in Nova Scotia.
Went there a few years back and stayed in Halifax and remember waking up to the strong smell of fish, most people probably would have been turned away from the pungent smell, but it was amazing, went down to the docks and watched as the boats came in. Spent a few weeks between Nova Scotia and Bar Harbor, Maine, as someone from a mountain state, this made me want to be a fisherman, even if I knew at the time I wouldn't last a day. This was back when the CAT had it's maiden voyage and they experienced rough waters and everyone aboard the ferry got sick. Best trip I've had.
