My dogs and I were tired of watching the Rob Lowe Shark week commercial, so we did the thing any dogs would do...make our own. Enjoy the pups- American Bulldog (Gypsy) and English Bulldog (Gunny) and Chihuahua (Thor)

How many times do you get to play a Superhero?!!!

My brain will not commence thinking about the many chances and challenges Ben Affleck has been given to play a superhero. There are 7,250,673,400 individuals living on this planet with the number growing everyday yet one actor has been given the chance to play three different superheros. It started out with Daredevil in 2003, in which I learned what 'lackluster' meant finally, "lacking in vitality, force, or conviction; uninspired or uninspiring." I walked away wishing I had been born blind. Then three years later Affleck decides "Let's give it another go" and portrays George Reeve's Superman in Hollywoodland, which was not a horrible portrayl of the deceased man's life for anyone who has read the biography. Now he wants to play the Dark Knight. How many capes does this maniac need?

But I can't place the blame on him, it's the directors and producers that enabled him and gave him the part that are at fault. Their train of thought must go like this "Hmm, you know there are 7 billion people in the world, lets not hold auditions or look at mug shots, or anything of the sort to give other human beings a chance to jump into the Dark Knight's boot, you know who would play a great Batman...that guy who played the drab, blind Daredevil and I think he also played Superman, what a perfect fit!" Now this is not the first time Hollywood directors, writers, and producers have handed out a silver superhero spoon to dual comic characters. My mind is still baffled by Chris Evans going from Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch in The Fantastic Four to also portraying Captain America. Are there only two actors in Holloywood who want to play Superheros? Come on Hollywood, give us some new faces...for the love of Stan Lee.
