Nothing about current American politics is healthy. You have an insane party led by an unstable narcissist, and a delusional party on a mission to prove to themselves that they didn't fuck up the whole election process, and willing to blame anyone but themselves. Plus both parties are owned by corporations and have zero integrity. And you have a public who's getting increasingly polarized and unwilling to have any sort of civilized discussion to resolve their differences. Instead they sit in echo chambers powered by social media and reinforce their delusions. This is how a society falls apart.

Scepticism doesn't cause the outrage that brings ratings or donor dollars.
