Democracy is dead. The wealthy rule, and we just fight over the details. I am obviously being fatalistic, but as someone who has spent quite a few years advocating for change through the ballot box, I'm not really sure what the answer is any more.
I'm afraid the political process has been usurped by the banks.
If an entity needs "bailed-out" it is not in the position to demand conditions.
