True, but somebody has to run ConAgra, so at least your representative makes something you can eat, a symbiotic relationship. Still parasitic, but somewhat useful.
you need someone to run the companies, but that someone doesn't need to make 1000 times as much as his/her employees. Parasitism is not necessary, even in a true democratic, capitalist society.
