Here, freelance writer may be considered freelance asshole. What a stupid, stupid story to come up with.
But, I think the main blame lies with all of the so-called news sites that parrot the story out like it's the gospel. Not one shred of truth and they cheerfully repeat it for the masses to consume.
This is one of those rare instances that I hope Costco drag's someone's ass into court and sues them into a smoking crater for this stupid shit.
