I wasn't aware of the distinction, but apparently Ranger School has nothing to do with the Army special operations force, the Rangers. They share a name, but are different things. Completing one does not grant acceptance into the other.
Not to belittle their accomplishments. That was a damned tough thing they're done.
PC stuff...but still amazing accomplishment
Yep, they completed a rather difficult military training course, but it does not mean they will become combatants. I would think being an MP in a theater is the closest a woman can get to a combat MOS.
