Moons Like Europa May Offer No Refuge to Humanity as Sun Brightens
As our sun's luminosity increases, humanity is going to have to find a home elsewhere (assuming we survive the next 600 million - 1 billion years, of course). Moons like Europa and Enceladus have huge liquid water reserves, but a new study suggests they won't become habitable, even in the short term.
