    No matter what government takes over, there is really no clear majority. It was a very close vote....and if you count the newly woken up....after googling about what the EU is of course, and the remorseful exiters , it probably swings back to remain. What a disaster.

      It was a very close vote. I have had my nose in this issue trying to understand what happened. I do not think it was a failure of democracy. A vote is a vote whether its yes or no. But from what I understand many votes were based more on high emotions rather than understanding, on each side. We have a lot of those emotional votes in the US also whenever there is a major or minor election. In a way campaign adds, speeches, and news can cause people to work against thier own best interest by pulling out fear, nationalism, despair, or other happier emotions to sway the votes to one side or the other.

      It is a mess but I think people can learn from it.
