    So the point is that they are protecting their business interests. Your principled friend went beyond not just listening to him on Spotify to actually boycotting them into submission. Consequently our truth loving social media conglomerates, who have the ability to stop any discourse, had to protect their business and amazingly did it at exactly the same time.

      Care to elaborate on the downvote ? This isn't Reddit. No shame in having an opinion.

        I don't know who keeps downvoting you, but my guess is either "Ug no like think hard!" or "Ug too much of an intellectual coward to comment in the open, so Ug smash. Ug smash good."

          Ah...its no big deal. I just don't want people to think they need to ring the doorbell and run.

          @Appaloosa -

          It's one thing if you want to fire off a downvote and forget about it. If you're asked to justify it, you should be able to. If you can't, you shouldn't've downvoted. With this recent spate of downvotes, there's no sign they've even read the first freaking word of what they're downvoting. If there's a reason chosen from the multiple-choice reasons, it doesn't check out. When asked for a specific reason, like you've asked above, they're not even refusing. I'm convinced this isn't even /r/Politics-style opinion voting. I think this is an idiot.
