Conversations about basic income, a government-funded salary given to every citizen, used to take place in the dingy offices of extremist left-wing politicians, or in the campus dorm rooms of idealistic students determined to fix the problems of the previous generation. The conversation was about social responsibility. It wasn’t an economic case, it was a moral one.

Why am I beginning to feel more like a pet than a human being. I wonder how this will transition....what things will look like 100 years from now. I sense a culling coming, a reset. A bit dark, but it may be part of the future for the human condition.
Things are definitely changing, and the rate of change is speeding up. I for one am excited, but also worried. I guess time will tell!
