    I can't imagine at all why you would ever want this.... But maybe it's because I don't use amazon -- if I order things online, at least here in the Netherlands, you can choose a pick-up point for your packages to be delivered at. Usually a post office, or a grocery store, etc. Which is brand/delivery method-agnostic, and usually open after work etc, so it fixes exactly what Amazon is trying to, too. I just checked and there's a dozens of places that I could pick it up at within a reasonable distance. Plus it makes sense as a delivery company/pick-up point...
