    What if this harddrive is full of proof against some of his colleagues or higher up?

      He's been in jail for two years. If his colleagues or higher-up were worried about him, he would already have hung himself , slipped in the shower, or suffered some other sort of misadventure.

    Judges pointed out that the Fifth Amendment only applies to witnesses and that the prosecutors didn't call him as a witness but only made a request for him to unlock his device, hence Fifth Amendment protections did not apply.

    The scariest thing in the whole damn article, you only have 5th amendment rights sometimes...
