    Are clearance investigations being slow rolled?

    It's been many years since I had a TS/SCI, but the background only took about 8 months and there were a couple of significant issues that had to be resolved.

    I'm sure investigations for high level aides don't usually start at the bottom of the to-do list. Why, at the beginning of year 2 are they still on interim clearances?
