State of the Tribe - March 15, 2015

This post is bound to update

Now with the state of /t/OpenSourceDev tribe, I want to present few things first.

There was an abuse of privilege on posting this Tribe recently with an inappropriate snaps that I feel that I need to remind some of you that this tribe is oriented toward discussing and analyzing open source projects and algorithms, NOT the usual technology posts that isn't relevant to open source development and programming or respecting the Tribe rules. Please post those in /t/technology and /t/opensource.

I created this Tribe with basic to advanced topics of programming for any and all open source projects in mind, because the fact that often time there were very sparse information that are current with the development of various open source projects, languages, and algorithms that require to be discussed and analyzed, I want to provide this platform.

As for contents, I've written up few things to add to the tribe soon when it is properly written and prepared.

    1. Wayland/X11 Development Analysis
    2. Cryptography and Shor Algorithm Hypothesis
    3. Cairo and Imlib2 - Benefit, Drawback, and it's potential for improvement.
    4. Anti-Pattern Programming Design Analysis

    New "OpenSourceDev" Tribe!

WIth the help from drunkenninja and gladsdotter, I've managed to set up a new tribe, OpenSourceDev. This is a tribe that focus on discussing and analyzing various open source projects, tools, languages, algorithms, and features no matter how complex the project is. It can range from a lot of simple topics to advanced topics.

We have very straightforward rules in the tribe, but it is different from "OpenSource" tribe which resolves around open source news and articles, our tribe focuses on the developmental part of open source around libraries and tools.

Feel free to join if you like to learn about all kinds of things that programming world can offer!

Hello, an Open Source developer here

Hi, I came from Reddit. Snapzu have a really good impression with me so far and I like how everything is simplified and organized as opposed to Reddit and it's toxic community.

I was looking for some sort of platform that can support community to share various open source projects and ideas for setting up new open source projects as well, Snapzu is a great candidate for this. I will try to set up a tribe that focuses on sharing open source projects among users, script writers and programmers alike.

Looking forward to seeing you guys on Snapzu.
